Hyperoil®

Hyperoil® is a line of class IIb medical devices that, thanks to their barrier effect, assist the regeneration and repair of skin tissue in case of acute and chronic (even infected) injuries. A line of herbal dressings that promote the reparative processes of all those wounds that normally resolve by second intention; they prevent infection, aid tissue regeneration and stimulate fibrinolytic and cleansing activity. These numerous properties derive from the combination of the main ingredients from two plants: Neem and Hypericum. Neem is an evergreen tree native to India and Burma that the UN has elected a 21st century tree; it has been part of the Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years, so much so that in India it is affectionately called 'the village pharmacy'. Hyperoil® owes its antiseptic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to Neem. Hypericum, another component of Hyperoil®, is a medicinal plant with five-petalled, golden-yellow flowers with regenerating, re-epithelialising and soothing properties. Already known in antiquity, in medieval times knights were only admitted to jousts after swearing on their honour not to wear St John's Wort (as Hypericum was then known) under their armour, which would give them magical protection. The oily extract, obtained by macerating the flowering tops in vegetable oils, was used to aid the regeneration of fissures during lactation or in the case of burns. Hyperoil® is available in different formats: resealable 5ml vials, individually packaged (in both gel and oily formulations), 10×10 cm gauze pads impregnated with gel, 30ml gel tube, 100ml oily bottle with spray dispenser and 100ml gel bottle with spray dispenser.

Medicated gauze

Box of 10 individually wrapped gauze pads, impregnated with GEL formulation. Each gauze is 10 x 10 cm in size. They can be applied in patients who are allergic or intolerant to Vaseline. They can be used at any stage of the wound.

Effective in acute wounds or chronic wounds as a support to the GEL or OILY solution, for a better and longer permanence of the product on the wound. Used alone, they simplify application in wounds that are slow and difficult to regenerate.

The product should be stored at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C.

Paraben- and petrolatum-free
